THOMAS LAMING is Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for
TrendStar Advisors, LLC. He is a member of the equity management team
with over 13 years of investment experience including positions in
portfolio management and research. Prior to co-founding the firm, Mr.
Laming spent 10 years with Kornitzer Capital Management as Sr. Vice
President and was Buffalo Funds' Chief Equity Strategist and Co-Lead
Manager for the Buffalo Small-Cap, Mid-Cap, Large-Cap, USA Global and
Science & Technology funds. Mr. Laming was previously a technology
analyst with Waddell and Reed, and prior to entering investment
management he was a spacecraft design engineer with Martin Marietta in
Denver, Colorado, and with TRW in Houston, Texas, and Redondo Beach,
California. In addition to his frequent appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg
and CNN television programs, Mr. Laming has appeared as a special guest
on Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street. He earned an MBA degree from Indiana
University, an MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS degree with highest
distinction in Physics from the University of Kansas. Mr. Laming is
also a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and

JAMES MC BRIDE is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for TrendStar
Advisors, LLC. He is a member of the equity management team with over
11 years of finance and investment management experience. Prior to co-
founding the firm, Mr. McBride was with Kornitzer Capital Management as
a Vice President and research analyst for three years. Prior to joining
Kornitzer Capital, he served as a project manager in corporate finance
with Agilent Technologies and Hewlett Packard. Mr. McBride earned a BS
degree, with honors, in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State
University in 1983 and an MBA degree in Finance from Indiana University
in 1989. He is also a 1986 graduate of the General Electric
Manufacturing Management Program for Manufacturing Engineers. Profile
