STEVEN BORICK – SUPERIOR INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL INC (SUP)

STEVEN J. BORICK was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Superior Industries International, Inc., in 2003 after serving as Executive Vice President since 2000. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1981. During his tenure as a senior executive at Superior, Mr. Borick spearheaded the ongoing capacity expansion and globalization programs that have played a crucial role in increasing Superior's share of the OEM aluminum wheel market. With a capital budget exceeding $150 million, these programs involved the expansion or construction of new facilities in the United States, Mexico and Europe that employ more than 7,000 people and increased the company's wheel manufacturing capacity by more than 25% since 2000 to approximately 18 million wheels annually. He also heads the team responsible for the company's entry into the OEM aluminum suspension components market, an effort that included the design and construction of a dedicated, manufacturing facility and the development of in-house engineering, manufacturing and marketing expertise required for success in this new venture, and developed and implemented the company's 'Working Smarter' training and education campaign focused on reducing costs, improving efficiency and enhancing communication throughout the organization. In addition to his responsibilities at Superior, Mr. Borick is President and COO of Texakota Inc., an oil and gas exploration and development company based in Houston, Texas, that he acquired in 1976, and General Partner of its production affiliate, Texakota Oil Company. He is an active member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Mr. Borick also serves on the Board of Directors, is Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of MDC Holdings, Inc., a large NYSE-listed home builder based in Denver, Colorado, and is a Director of Richmond Homes, Denver. Mr. Borick, received his degree in Business Administration from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, in 1975, and was honored to deliver the commencement address to the graduating class of 2003. R. JEFFREY ORNSTEIN is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Superior Industries International, Inc. Mr. Ornstein attended Rutgers University, graduating in 1964 with a BA in Economics. In 1966 he obtained his CPA from the State of New Jersey. From 1965 to 1976, Mr. Ornstein was with the CPA firm of Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young and Company) where he was a Principal on the audit staff. From 1976 to 1984, Mr. Ornstein held a variety of financial management positions. Mr. Ornstein has been the Chief Financial Officer of Superior Industries since joining the company in June 1984.
