Robert Dimond – Nash Finch Company (nafc)

ROBERT B. 'BOB' DIMOND joined Nash Finch Company in September 2000 as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ron Marshall, CEO, recognized his talents for building cohesive teams with financial acumen and welcomed his contributions to the new focus for Nash Finch. As CFO, he is responsible for guiding the financial strategies for this $4 billion public company. As part of the executive management team, his experience guides the business strategies implementation as well. Mr. Dimond has 14 years of experience, often at the executive level, in the food industry. His previous position was as Group Vice President and CFO (Western Region) for Kroger, based in Portland, where he was responsible for the strategic allocation of capital among the seven western divisions and implementation of its financial plan. Prior to Kroger, Mr. Dimond was CFO for Fred Meyer in Portland. Before Fred Meyer, he was Vice President, Administration and Controller at Smith's Food and Drug in Utah.
