Richard Beyer – Elantec Semiconductor Inc (elnt)

RICHARD BEYER has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since July 2000. From January 1999 through July 2000, Mr. Beyer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FVC.COM, Inc. From July 1996 through August 1998, Mr. Beyer served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of VLSI Technology, Incorporated. From June 1995 through June 1996, Mr. Beyer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of National Semiconductor Corporation, and from February 1993 through May 1995 he held the position of President of the Communications and Computing Group of National Semiconductor Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Beyer served in a number of senior managerial positions in the telecommunications and computer industries. Mr. Beyer served three years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a BS degree and an MS degree in Russian from Georgetown University as well as a MBA degree in Marketing and International Business from Columbia University. Profile
