Michael D. Rumbolz – Anchor Gaming

MICHAEL D. RUMBOLZ is President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Gaming, a diversified gaming company that concentrates on the operation of gaming machines. Prior to joining Anchor, Mr. Rumbolz was Director of Corporate Development for Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc. In December 1993, Mr. Rumbolz was the first President and Managing Director of Windsor Casino Limited, a consortium company owned by Hilton Hotel Corporation, Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc. and Caesars World. He was Chief Operating Officer for the development, construction and operation of the temporary casino in Windsor, Ontario. He was appointed Chief Deputy Attorney General for Nevada in 1983. He was the senior attorney for the Nevada regulatory system charged with the administration and management of the Attorney General's offices in Las Vegas and Carson City. In 1985, he was appointed by the governor of Nevada to the Nevada State Gaming Control Board as the member in charge of Enforcement and Special Investigations Divisions. He served as Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Executive Director for the agency from June 1987 through December of 1988. He was named President of Trump-Nevada in February 1989. Mr. Rumbolz moved to Atlantic City, NJ as part of the executive team to open Trump Taj Mahal in April 1990. He was later named Executive Vice President of Trump Castle, until 1992. Mr. Rumbolz received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science with honors from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and then went on to the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law where he graduated in 1980.
