John Proulx – Industrial Rubber Innovations Inc (iribe)

JOHN PROULX is President, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Rubber Innovations Inc. Mr. Proulx started his career in Canadian provincial and municipal law enforcement. The last position he held before retirement was in charge of major crime investigation. After retirement, Mr. Proulx entered the optical field. He formed his own design and manufacturing firm, which together with another optical firm he managed, was awarded contracts by the Canadian Armed Forces to supply 100% of their eyeglass requirements. He sold his company in 1995. He then formed a new international optical firm where he works closely with the Canadian Government's Export Development Corporation. His last contract was to instruct and train employees and management of an optical company in North Africa (Tunisia) to grind and produce quality plastic eyeglasses. Mr. Proulx's company also has contracts to supply eyeglasses for the Canadian Armed Forces in British Columbia. In November 1998, Mr. Proulx became President and CEO of the newly formed Industrial Rubber Innovations, and took the company public in April of the current year. Profile
