JAN ERIK BOERS is Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Operations for XY
Mobile. Jan brings to XY-Mobile Technologies over 20 years of
experience in the telecommunications industry. Immediately prior to
founding XY-Mobile Technologies, Jan was CEO for Winbox.com, a software
and services company that provides creative solutions to wireless
operators and wireless portals for acquiring mobile Internet customers
quickly and inexpensively. Prior to Winbox.com, Jan was a Vice President
and Partner at American Management Systems business and information
technology consulting firm. Jan also served in key executive positions
at leading wireless carriers around the world. He was the CEO of Essar
Cellphone, successfully growing it to be India's largest cellular
operator, and the VP of International Business Operations for Swisscom.
Jan began his career with GTE Telenet and Sprint International where he
helped establish new offices in the UK and Germany. Jan holds a BS from
the University of California Berkeley and an MBA from the University of
