John R. Hewitt is President and CEO of Matrix Service Company, an engineering and construction company serving the energy and industrial markets. With a passion for the industry, Mr. Hewitt’s nearly 45-year career has been in the engineering, procurement, and construction industry, working in roles that include tradesman, field and project management, and leadership. Before joining Matrix in 2011, he served 25 years in managerial and executive positions for various operating businesses of Aker Solutions and its predecessors. Mr. Hewitt earned his Finance degree from Stetson University and his Civil Engineering degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
