Howard Nelson Jr. – Colonial Properties Trust (clp)

HOWARD B. NELSON, JR., is Chief Financial Officer of Colonial Properties Trust, with general responsibility for financing matters since May 1997. Mr. Nelson was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company, from September 1993 to May 1997. He joined Colonial Properties in 1984 as Vice President and became Senior Vice President ' Finance in 1987. Mr. Nelson serves on the Accounting and Technology committee of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He has served as Treasurer, Vice President, President and Board Member of the Birmingham Chapter of the National Association of Metropolitan Birmingham. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Harbor Family Center and the College of Birmingham Advisory Council of Auburn University.
