Gary Tice – F.n.b. Corporation (fban)

GARY L. TICE has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of F.N.B. Corporation since January 2001. Prior to that he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Tice is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Management. He began his career with First National Bank of Pennsylvania, where he worked closely with F.N.B. Chairman Peter Mortensen and Vice Chairman Stephen J. Gurgovits. In 1977, Mr. Tice relocated to Southwest Florida where he joined the original Citizens National Bank of Naples as Accounting Manager. After several promotions and a change in bank names, he organized a new independent community bank in 1985 under the name Citizens National Bank of Naples. In 1988, he established Southwest Banks Inc. and opened First National Bank of Naples, serving as its Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. He then established an affiliate community bank, Cape Coral National Bank in Cape Coral, Florida. Both banks eventually merged into F.N.B. Corporation, and were consolidated under the First National Bank of Florida charter. Mr. Tice has continued to serve as the Chairman of First National Bank of Florida. Profile
