ALISTAIR BUCHANAN is the Head of European Utilities Research at
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's London office. Previously, he ran the US
Utilities Research Team of Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Buchanan is a
member of the EEI's (Edison Electric Institute) 1999 Conference
committee. He has also served as Head of UK and European Research and
Head of Global Research at BZW (now Credit Suisse First Boston). Prior
to becoming an Analyst, Mr. Buchanan had qualified with KPMG. He is a
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Profile
