ELLIS GHODSIAN heads portfolio research for Diversified Investments. As
a portfolio research strategist, he is responsible for organizing the
development, the testing and the ongoing evaluation of the bottom-up
public equity investment strategies that are offered by the firm. Mr.
Ghodsian joined the firm in 1989, as a portfolio research assistant. He
accepted the post of co-director of portfolio analytics in 1993. He
shared this title with Dr. Dina Levy. In 1995, he was promoted to his
current position as portfolio research strategist. Mr. Ghodsian has been
instrumental in the development and systematization of DI's investment
strategies. These strategies have generated stable returns across
varying economic environments and equity market cycles. He received a
Bachelor's of Science degree in Cognitive Science, with honors, and a
specialization in computing from the University of California, Los
