CEDD MOSES is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Portfolio Advisory Services LLC, a Los Angeles-based investment management company. The firm's growth equity strategies are focused on achieving long-term capital appreciation for individual investors, institutions, trust, endowment and pension plans. Mr. Moses co-founded Portfolio Advisory Services, LLC in 1988, and developed the firm's quantitative growth style. His disciplines are focused in two general areas, growth stock selection and market risk assessment via a model called the Five Market Principals. The firm's flagship strategy, the Aggressive Growth Partners, LP, has achieved average annualized returns of 19.73%. And year-to-date, Cedd's hedge fund is up 66.37% net of all fees through September 30th, and has been ranked #1 in the country for mid-cap growth managers by Nelsons. With his success in client accounts, Mr. Moses has received widespread recognition within the investment management community. In addition to being featured in Forbes, Barron's, Los Angeles Magazine, Institutional Investor, Global Finance, Money Manager Review and Buyside Magazine, Cedd is also a monthly columnist for the CBS Marketwatch website. In 1991, Mr. Moses won the U.S. Investing Championship with a record-breaking investment return that Investor's Business Daily noted, 'could stand for years.' Cedd's interest in the stock market began in 1972 when he was 12 years old and received some common stocks as a gift. In 1982, Cedd began his career as a broker and research analyst, and over the next six years he worked at two regional brokerage firms.
