CATHERINE MCLEOD-SELTZER is President of Pacific Rim Mining Corp. She is well known and well regarded in the mining industry. After spending the early years of her career working in mining corporate finance, both in North America and internationally, Ms. McLeod-Seltzer went on to co- found Arequipa Resources with renowned mine-finder David Lowell. The $1.1 billion takeover of Arequipa by Barrick in 1996, which she helped steward, was of one of the most lucrative mining industry buyouts in the last 10 years.
