Bruce Dingwall started his career with Esso Exploration UK Limited as a Seismic Interpreter in 1984. Following four years with Esso, he joined Lasmo plc where he spent 10 years initially in technical roles and then latterly in managerial roles in Pakistan, Indonesia and London. In 1996 he left Lasmo and went on to found Venture Production in early 1997. Bruce was President of the UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA) in 2003, is a member of PILOT and the Industry Leadership Team (ILT) and, for services to the oil and gas industry, he was awarded the CBE in the 2004 New Years honours list.
