Bradford Smith – Laboratory Corporation Of America Holdings (lh)

BRADFORD T. SMITH has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary of Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings since September 2001 and previously as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary since the merger to form LabCorp in 1995. He was Chief Compliance Officer from August 1996 to September 2001. Mr. Smith also oversees the company's public affairs, human resources, law, compliance, licensing and audit operations. Mr. Smith is a member of the Executive and Management Committees of the company. Previously, Mr. Smith served as Assistant General Counsel of Hoffmann-La Roche, Division Counsel of RBL and Assistant Secretary and member of RBL's Senior Management Committee from 1988 until April 1995. Mr. Smith served as Assistant Secretary of Hoffmann-La Roche from 1989 until the merger and as an Assistant Vice President of Hoffmann-La Roche during 1992 and 1993.
