David M. Parks is the CEO and Founder of Keel Point. Mr. Parks’ vision emanates from his faith and family perspective. Through his vision and direction, Keel Point developed its unique ownership and organizational structure. Mr. Parks was a contributing author with Scott Fithian on the Legacy Planning series, which has been used to help clients create a wealth optimization plan that follows their personal value system. Mr. Parks’ professional background includes six years on Young Life staff and experience as Director of Research for Washington Econometrics and Management Consultants with the Washington Group of Fairfax, Virginia. He led a financial planning practice for nine years with the Mason Companies. Mr. Parks is currently serving, or has served, on the following boards: NAPP — National Association of Philanthropic Planners — International Youth Services & Development Corps, Washington Metro Region Young Life, The International Foundation and Madeira School. A speaker for both nonprofit and professional organizations, he has been interviewed for and quoted in, Barron’s and BusinessWeek. Mr. Parks received a Bachelor of Science in management sciences from Duke University and is a Certified Financial Planner. He is a Registered Representative of WFG Investments, Inc.
