Neil Blackley

NEIL BLACKLEY, First Vice President, joined Merrill Lynch from Goldman
Sachs where he covered U.K and European media sectors. His team is
ranked number one in both pan European and U.K coverage in the 1999
Institutional Investor and number one in the Reuters European Media
coverage 2000. Mr Blackley led the flotation of BSkyB in 1994 and the
secondary offering of Pearson in 1995. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs,
he was the number one ranked Media Analyst in 1991, 1992, and 1993 while
at James Chapel, where he worked for 10 years. Before that he worked in
fund management, shipping and civil engineering. Mr Blackley holds an
MBA from the London Business School and B.Sc. (Eng) from the Imperial
College of Science and Technology.
