KIRK RICHTER is Treasurer of Sigma-Aldrich Corporation. He joined
the company in 1978. He became Treasurer of the company in May
1997 after serving as Controller from 1983 to May 1997. He
received a BS degree in Business Administration from the
University of Missouri in 1968 and became a CPA in 1972.
