John M. Payne

JOHN M. PAYNE is President and CEO of Stamps.com. Inc. Prior to joining
Stamps.com, Mr. Payne served for four years as President and CEO of
AirMedia, Inc., a wireless communications software and services
provider. With AirMedia, he directed the creation of strategic business
relationships with more than 70 leading Internet and PC enterprises.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Payne was also the founding CEO of Fingertip
Technologies, Inc., as well as the co-founder of two specialty software
firms. Mr. Payne is a regular speaker at software and Internet trade
shows and industry conferences, including COMDEX, Internet World, Red
Herring, and Upside. Mr. Payne holds a BA in Economics from the
University of California, Irvine. Prior to his (somewhat accidental)
career in the software industry, he was a Wilderness Ranger for the US
Forest Service.
