James D. Durham

JAMES D. DURHAM is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Crdentia
Corp. Mr. Durham has over 30 years’ experience in the creation and
management of healthcare and information technology companies. He
founded Crdentia Corp. in 2002 and is responsible for the company’s
strategic direction as well as mergers and acquisitions. In 1993, Mr.
Durham founded QuadraMed Corporation, a company that offers a suite of
software products and services focused on the financial and clinical
needs of hospitals. In 1996, he took QuadraMed public and followed with
a secondary offering in 1997 and a $100 million convertible bond
offering in 1998. Mr. Durham founded ChartOne Corporation to offer
secure Web-based storage and retrieval capabilities for medical records.
The company will realize revenues in excess of $80 million this year and
has over 1,000 hospital customers. Mr. Durham led the restructuring and
turn-around of Knowledge Data Systems, a bankrupt public company. As CEO
he returned the company to profitability with revenues exceeding $50
million and sold it to Ameritech. Mr. Durham founded Medicus
Microsystems Corporation, the first company to use personal computers in
the healthcare industry. Medicus Microsystems later went public as
Medicus Systems Corporation. Mr. Durham graduated from the University of
Florida with high honors and a Bachelors degree in Industrial
Engineering and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from
the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a CPA licensed in
Illinois.
