George R Hoguet

GEORGE R HOGUET is a Principal and Head of Quantitative Emerging Market
Strategies at State Global Advisors. He spent the first part of his
career in investment banking at Bankers Trust Company. Mr. Hoguet has
also held positions at Frank Russell Company, Tacoma, WA where he
consulted to large institutional investors on a wide range of investment
topics, and Baring Asset Management, where he worked in London with the
Chief Investment Officer. From 1981 to 1985, Mr. Hoguet served at the US
Treasury Department, first as US Alternate Executive Director to the
World Bank, and subsequently as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of
the Treasury for International Affairs. At the Treasury Department, he
worked on a broad range of international monetary issues, including
Latin American debt stabilization programs, Bank/Fund coordination, and
the yen dollar talks. Mr. Hoguet is a graduate of Harvard College and
Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a
qualified Financial Risk Manager as certified by the Global Association
of Risk Professionals. Mr. Hoguet sits on the Executive Committees of
the Boston Economics Club and Boston Committee on Foreign Relations, and
is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, New York, New York.
