Douglas Dirks

Douglas Dirks is President and CEO of Employers Holdings, Inc., and Employers Group, Inc. He has served as CEO of Employers Insurance Company of Nevada and Employers Compensation Insurance Company. He also has served as President and CEO of Employers Occupational Health, Inc., and Elite Insurance Services, Inc. Mr. Dirks was the CEO of Nevada’s State Industrial Insurance System. Prior to joining SIIS, he served in senior insurance regulatory positions and as an Adviser to the Nevada Governor’s Office. Mr. Dirks also has worked in the public accounting and investment banking industries. He holds B.A. and MBA degrees from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from the University of South Dakota.
