Ignace Proot

Ignace Proot joined Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC in January 2013 and is a Senior Analyst covering U.S. metals & mining. Mr. Proot joined Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC, from ArcelorMittal where, for the previous four years, he was responsible for the development and implementation of strategy across the Flat Carbon Europe division. Prior to that, he spent six years at McKinsey, where he was an Associate Principal primarily serving global energy and materials clients, and worked out of the Belgium office. Mr. Proot earned an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of Ghent, and is fluent in Dutch, French, English and German.
