Robert J. Woolway

ROBERT J. WOOLWAY is a managing director of Relational Advisors, LLC. He
has been a successful investment banker for nearly 20 years and has
executed a wide variety of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and
financing transactions on behalf of large companies and private equity
firms. Prior to joining Relational Advisors, he was a managing director
of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in the Los Angeles office where he was
responsible for the firm’s investment banking coverage of western US
corporations and financial sponsors. Previously, he was head of J.P.
Morgan’s Los Angeles office, responsible for investment banking and
other activities in the Southwest. In 1995, Mr. Woolway joined Merrill
Lynch & Co. as a director in the Los Angeles-based investment banking
group and was promoted to managing director in 1997. At Merrill Lynch,
he led investment banking coverage of financial sponsors and several
large corporations on the West Coast. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch,
Mr. Woolway was with Salomon Brothers and worked initially in New York
and then for nine years in the Los Angeles Corporate Finance department
covering corporations and financial sponsors. He began his investment
banking career at Dean Witter Reynolds in Los Angeles as a financial
analyst following his graduation from Harvard University in 1981 with an
AB degree with honors in Economics. In 1985, Mr. Woolway earned an MBA
degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he
was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
