Qingjie Zhao has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wonder Auto Technology, Inc., since July 2006. Mr. Zhao joined the company's subsidiary, Jinzhou Halla, as its Chairman in October 1997. He is an Executive Director of Jinzhou Jinheng Automotive Safety System Co., Ltd., which is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of automotive air bag safety systems in China. Mr. Zhao devotes his primary business time to Wonder Auto's affairs and the remainder to the affairs of other companies. He graduated from the Liaoning Industry Academy in 1982. Thereafter he was a faculty member at the Liaoning University of Technology from 1982 to 1989. After leaving that post, Mr. Zhao joined Jinzhou Shock Absorber Co., which is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of suspension systems for automobiles. In January 1989, he became head of the research department, and from 1991 to 1997 he served as CEO. Mr. Zhao is a professor at Liaoning University of Technology in the automotive department. Profile
