Stephanie Streeter – Banta Corporation (bn)

STEPHANIE A. STREETER was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Banta Corporation on October 1, 2002, and has served as a member of the Banta Board of Directors since July 2001. She joined Banta in January 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Banta, Ms. Streeter served in key executive leadership positions at both Avery Dennison, a $4 billion office products manufacturer, and idealab!, a Pasadena, California-based creator and operator of Internet businesses. Working as Chief Operating Officer of idealab! for one year, Ms. Streeter implemented a number of operating systems, metrics and controls while introducing a strategic focus to the business. In her 15 years at Avery, Ms. Streeter progressed quickly through the organization, moving from an Assistant Product Manager through various management and executive management positions of increasing scope and responsibility, ultimately becoming Group Vice President for Worldwide Office Products, a $1.4 billion division with 6,500 employees and 41 operations worldwide. She introduced numerous successful new products, strategically positioned Avery's consumer office products to take leadership positions in each of their markets, expanded geographically into Asia, Latin America and Europe, and implemented cost and management systems that resulted in dramatically improved profitability. A graduate of Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, Ms. Streeter began her career with Automation Consultants, a Menlo Park, California, business application software company.
