SERGE GODIN is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The
CGI Group, Inc. He founded CGI in 1976 and has remained at the helm of
the company since its inception. Under his guidance, over the years CGI
has built a solid reputation as one of North America's leading IT
services companies. Mr. Godin's entrepreneurial qualities, his focus on
the client and his unswerving commitment to quality have helped shape
CGI's distinctive values. Mr. Godin is Fellow of the Institute of
Certified Management Consultants. He is a past member of the Conference
Board of Canada, the Board of Governors of the Montreal Exchange, the
Young Presidents' Organization and the Strategic Committee on the
scientific and technological assessment of Greater Montreal. He is a
member of the Business Council on National Issues and the Cercle des
chefs mailleurs du Qu_bec. He sits on the Board of Directors of SNC-
Lavalin and of the Soci_t_ g_n_rale de financement (SGF). He is also
