SEAN BELANGER is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Paradyne Networks, Inc. Since
assuming this role in December 2000, Mr. Belanger has streamlined
Paradyne's focus on 'Bringing Broadband to the World,'
identifying the company's key differentiators in the Digital
Subscriber Line (DSL) and Service Level Management (SLM) markets
and building a strategy around Paradyne's innovative solutions
and unique value propositions. Prior to his current position, Mr.
Belanger served as Paradyne's President and Chief Operating
Officer with responsibility for sales and marketing, research and
development, and customer service. Mr. Belanger began his career
with Paradyne in June 1997 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide
Sales and Service, where he drove Paradyne's sales through
strategic and tactical initiatives. He has a proven track record
in sales management - exceeding revenue and profitability plans
as well as customer expectations. During his tenure with
Paradyne, he has played a vital role in building a global sales
and service organization responsible for the deployment of
Paradyne's solutions in all 50 states and more than 140
countries. Prior to joining Paradyne, Mr. Belanger served as Vice
President and General Manager of 3Com Corporation's Network
Service Provider Division. Earlier in his career, he held the
positions of Vice President of Sales at Primary Access and Penril
DataComm. Mr. Belanger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
