Scott Silk – Epresence Inc (epre)

SCOTT SILK is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ePresence, Inc. He joined the company in January 1999 and is responsible for overseeing the company's sales and marketing activities. These responsibilities include management of the sales force, sales team development, corporate marketing, advertising, public relations, the development of strategic alliances and acquisition activity. Prior to joining the company, he was President of North American Operations and Vice President of worldwide marketing at Gentia Software, Inc., a leading supplier of enterprise business intelligence software. In this capacity, Mr. Silk played an instrumental role in identifying and creating new application opportunities and repositioning the company as a provider of analytical software applications, while maintaining the company's core business. Mr. Silk took the leadership role in restructuring the organization and establishing new business relationships that resulted in the company's return to profitability in North America. Prior to that he was Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Unisys Corporation. Mr. Silk's experience includes an extensive career of taking on progressively more responsible positions in sales, marketing and general management at companies including Unisys Corporation, Ally Software and Actium Corporation. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Ohio State University and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Profile
