Retail Drug Chains: John Ransom – Raymond James & Assoc

John W. Ransom is Director of Healthcare Research and Managing Director, Equity Research, at Raymond James & Associates. In addition to serving as Director of the healthcare group, Mr. Ransom covers a number of sectors, including alternate site healthcare providers, retail drugstores, hospital management companies and drug distributors. He joined Raymond James in 1996 after 11 years with First Union, where he co-founded and was a Vice President in the healthcare group. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, and Dow Jones publications. In addition, he has been the featured speaker at the National Investors Conference, as well as at a number of other healthcare conferences. Finally, Mr. Ransom has earned several professional accolades for his work, including being named to The Wall Street Journal Best on the Street Analyst team and placing in the Reuters Top 10 Analyst survey.
