PETER FIORE is President of Ascential Software Corporation. As
President Mr. Fiore has led Ascential through its transition to
becoming an independent company, focused on leading in the
growing data integration market. Mr. Fiore, the former President
of Informix Business Solutions, previously served as Executive
Vice President and General Manager of Ardent Software where he
successfully managed the company's acquisition by Informix
Corporation. Earlier during his tenure as Vice President and
General Manager of Ardent's data warehousing unit, he
substantially increased the company's annual revenues through a
series of strategic acquisitions. Before joining Ardent, Mr.
Fiore directed channel marketing for CrossComm Corporation and
held sales and marketing management positions at Stratus
Computer, Inc. Prior to launching his 18-year career in high-tech
sales, marketing and business development, he received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Harvard
