LEANNE BAKER is a Director in the Equity Research Department of Salomon Smith Barney where she specializes in precious metals and nonferrous metals companies. Dr. Baker joined Salomon Brothers in 1994 as a commodities analyst and two years later moved to the firm's sister company, Phillipp Brothers. In 1990, she rejoined Salomon Brothers. She received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado and her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. Ms. Baker is a member and former president of the Nonferrous Metals Analyst Group and a member of the AIMR, Women in Mining and the Mineral Economics and Management Society. Profile
