MARTIN L. VERHOEF is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ciphergen
Biosystems, Inc. Mr. Verhoef received a BS (Hons) degree in Medical
Microbiology and Biochemistry from the Van't Hoff Institute in
Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Prior to joining Ciphergen Biosystems he was
Marketing Manager, and before that, Research and Development Manager of
the DNA Micro Array Program at Agilent Technologies, Inc., in Palo Alto,
California (1996-2000). His European experience includes Product
Marketing Manager for Hewlett-Packard's Capillary Electrophoresis and
HPLC programs in Waldbronn, Germany (1990-1996); Product Manager for
Pharmacia AB in Uppsala, Sweden (1988-1990) and Product Manager for
