Paul Wong, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Sprott Asset Management LP with 20 years of experience in the investment industry. Previously, he was a portfolio manager with Natcan Investment Management, where he managed three natural-resource-related funds with more than $350 million in assets. Under Mr. Wong’s management, the Altamira Resource Fund and Altamira Precious and Strategic Metal Fund both delivered first-quartile performance for the three-year period ended February 28, 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Wong was a proprietary trader with Scotia Capital, managing the bank’s capital on a long/short basis.
