Macro Trends In The Health Care Space – Dave Shove – Bmo Capital Markets

DAVE SHOVE is a Senior Research Analyst on the health care team of the BMO Capital Markets Equity Research Group, covering managed care companies and other health care service providers. For the past 14 years, Mr. Shove has been a sell-side Analyst covering health care, most recently with the Prudential Equity Group/Vector Securities. Previously he covered the health care industry at Nesbitt Burns and Fox-Pitt Kelton, both in New York. His research has been recognized by Institutional Investor, and in 2005 Mr. Shove was named "Top Stock Picker" in health care services by Bloomberg. His experience in the health care industry includes working at MetLife as a Senior Management Consultant, then at Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield as the Director of Managed Care Development. Mr. Shove: I cover the managed care companies - I tend to call them health insurers - and I cover the PBMs (pharmacy benefit managers),
