Kenneth Bernstein – Acadia Realty Trust (akr)

KENNETH F. BERNSTEIN is President and Chief Executive Officer of Acadia Realty Trust. Mr. Bernstein is responsible for strategic planning as well as overseeing the day-to-day activities of Acadia, including operations, acquisitions and capital markets. Mr. Bernstein served as the Chief Operating Officer of RD Capital, Inc., from 1990 until the creation of Acadia Realty Trust through the merger of RD Capital with Mark Centers Trust in August 1998. Prior to joining RD capital, Mr. Bernstein was an associate with the New York law firm of Battle Fowler, LLP, from 1986 to 1990. Mr. Bernstein received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont and his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, Urban Land Institute and the Young President's Organization. Profile
