JERRY L. STARKEY is President of WCI Communities, Inc. Mr. Starkey
brings over 20 years of real estate experience to WCI and has spent the
past 16 years with WCI and its predecessor, Florida Design Communities,
a company he also led as President from 1994 until its merger with WCI
in 1998. Under his guidance, WCI Communities has emerged as one of the
nation's leading developers of highly amenitized lifestyle communities
and residential highrise towers. WCI also develops and manages
recreational amenities including golf courses, marinas and private
dining clubs. Mr. Starkey has focused WCI on other service businesses
that include its Prudential Realty franchise brokerage, mortgage banking
