JACK CUMMING's tenure as Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Hologic, Inc., began in August 2001 following the
death of the former CEO and co-Founder, S. David Ellenbogen.
Hologic is the worldwide technology leader in products dedicated
to osteoporosis assessment, mammography and digital radiographic
applications. Hologic's mammography and bone densitometry systems
are distributed worldwide and boast an installed base of more
then 10,000 systems for each division. Under the leadership of
Mr. Cumming, Hologic completed its integration of acquired
business units, returned to profitability and introduced a number
of new products. Recently, the company received final approval
from the FDA for its LORAD Selenia Full Field Digital Mammography
System. Selenia uses the company's award-winning DirectRay
