Investing In Well-managed Canadian Companies – Kevin Charlebois – Brookfield Soundvest Capital Management

Kevin Charlebois is President and Chief Investment Officer at Brookfield Soundvest Capital Management Ltd. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University (1974) and joined the company in 1975. He has managed investments in Canadian and US stocks, bonds, money market, mortgages, real estate, venture capital, private placements and high-yielding equities since that time. His experience includes acting as a Director on the Boards of private companies involved in real estate and mortgages, and in the oil and gas business on behalf of pension fund clients. In addition, Mr. Charlebois has created and taught finance courses at Carleton University, is past Chairman of the Finance Committee of the School of Business at Algonquin College, is a past Director of the Ottawa-Carleton Board of Trade and past Chairman of the Board's Finance and Taxation Committee, a past Chairman of the Young Professional Associates, a past Director of the Foundation of the Ottawa General Hospital and a former President of the Ottawa Chapter of Financial Analysts.
