Interview with the President and CEO: Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc. (SASR)

Daniel J. Schrider has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sandy Spring Bank, a subsidiary of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., since January 1, 2009. Mr. Schrider has been Chief Executive Officer at Sandy Spring Bancorp. Inc. since January 1, 2009; President since March 26, 2008; and Chief Credit Officer since January 1, 2003. Mr. Schrider serves as the Chief Revenue Officer of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., and Sandy Spring Bank. He has been the President of Sandy Spring National Bank of Maryland, a subsidiary of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., since March 26, 2008. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Sandy Spring National Bank of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., since January 1, 2009. He served as Chief Credit Officer of Sandy Spring National Bank of Maryland, a subsidiary of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., since January 1, 2003. He served as an Executive Vice President of Sandy Spring National Bank of Maryland since January 1, 2003. He has overall responsibility for Sandy Spring Bancorp’s lending and credit risk management functions. He served as Senior Vice President and Division Manager of Sandy Spring National Bank since 1996. Mr. Schrider began his career in retail banking in 1986. He served as the Chairman of Sandy Spring Bank and Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., since December 2008. He serves as Director of the Maryland Title Center LLC, Director of Maryland Bank Services Inc., a Trustee of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Director of Montgomery County Chapter of American Red Cross and Member of Maryland Industrial Development Finance Authority. He has been active in numerous community, civic and professional organizations over the years. He serves as a Director of the Maryland Bankers Association (MBA). He serves as Director of Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., and Sandy Spring Bank. Mr. Schrider is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds an MBA in finance from Mount St. Mary’s University.
