Interview with the President and CEO: Overland Storage, Inc. (OVRL)

Kelly, Eric
Eric Kelly has served as Overland Storage, Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer since January 2009, its President and CEO since January 2010, and as a board member since November 2007. He is also a current member of the Sphere 3D board and has served as its Chairman since July 2013. Mr. Kelly currently serves on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Council, and the White House’s Advance Manufacturing Partnership, where he offers advice and counsel to the Obama administration on strategies and policy recommendations on ways to promote and advance U.S. manufacturing. He also participates on advisory boards for the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University. Mr. Kelly has more than 30 years of operational, marketing and sales expertise in the high-technology industry. Prior to joining Overland, he was CEO of Silicon Valley Management Partners Inc., a management consulting and M&A advisory firm, which he co-founded in 2007, and was the U.S. Advisor for Nomura International, one of the largest private equity firms in Japan. Earlier, Mr. Kelly was President and General Manager at Adaptec, a Fortune 1000 corporation; board member, President and CEO of Snap Appliance; President of the Systems Division at Maxtor Corporation; and Vice President of the Enterprise business at Dell Computer. In addition, he has held executive-level positions with IBM, Connor Peripherals and Diamond Multimedia Systems.
