Thompson, Michele M.
Michele M. Thompson, President and Chief Financial Officer of LaPorte Savings Bank, is also a lifetime resident of LaPorte County. She is a graduate of Ball State University, with a bachelorís degree in finance, and of Indiana University, with an MBA. Ms. Thompson has 30 years of banking experience. She joined La Porte Savings Bank in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer, and she was later promoted to Executive Vice President. In 2007 she was made a Director of the bank, and in 2011, was named President. Ms. Thompson currently serves on the boards of IU Health La Porte Hospital and the Unity Foundation of La Porte County, as well as on the LaPorte County Economic Advisory Group. She is also a member of the La Porte High School Athletic Department Advisory Committee and an active Habitat for Humanity volunteer. Ms. Thompson is the Past President of the IU Health La Porte Hospital Foundation, La Porte Family YMCA and La Porte County United Way, and she has also served on the boards of the La Porte County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Parents and Friends, Tri Kappa and the La Porte Area Juvenile Aid Association.  Profile
Brady, Lee
Lee Brady, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of LaPorte Savings Bank, is a lifelong LaPorte resident. He earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Indiana University. Mr. Brady then served in Vietnam as a member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade of the United States Army. He began working at LaPorte Savings Bank in 1974, and he is currently Chairman of the LaPorte Community Development Partnership Board, and he serves on the LaPorte Business Improvement District Board and the LaPorte Economic Advancement Foundation. Mr. Brady is a Past President of the IU Health LaPorte Hospital and LaPorte Parks & Recreation Boards, and has also served on the boards of the Greater LaPorte Economic Development Corporation, LaPorte County Zoning and LaPorte County Library. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Profile
