Walter Pritchard is a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at Cowen &
Co., LLC, covering infrastructure software, including security, management, and
middleware/tools software. Prior to joining Cowen in 2004, he spent just over
six years at SoundView Technology Group, most recently as a Senior Analyst
covering the software space, and prior to that as an Associate in research and
investment banking. He holds a BA degree in Chemistry from Pomona College and is
