Hans Helmerich – Helmerich & Payne Inc (hp)

HANS HELMERICH is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Helmerich & Payne, Inc., an energy-oriented company engaged in contract drilling and oil and gas exploration and production. He joined the firm in 1981 and has held his current positions since 1989. Mr. Helmerich received a BS from Dartmouth College, with a major in Government. In 1985, he completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Helmerich is active in a variety of business, civic and charitable organizations. He currently serves as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and is a Board Member of Atwood Oceanics, Inc., the Indian Nations Council, Boy Scouts of America, and the Tulsa Metro Chamber. DOUGLAS E. FEARS is Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Helmerich & Payne, Inc. He joined the company in 1986 as Manager, Internal Audit and has held his current position since 1988. Mr. Fears received a BBA from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
