DOUGLAS J. BARTEK co-founded Microtune', Inc., in May 1996 and
has served as Chairman and Chief Executive since that time, also
assuming the responsibilities of President in April 2003. Prior
to joining Microtune, he served from 1992 through1996 as a
Division President within Cirrus Logic, Inc. During this period,
Mr. Bartek grew the division's revenues from $50 million to more
than $600 million annually. In 1991, Mr. Bartek served as
President and CEO of Acumos, Inc. In this position, he grew the
company from $10 million to $35 million per year and eventually
merged it with Cirrus Logic. Mr. Bartek holds a BSEE degree from
the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in
Engineering/Computer Science and an MBA from Arizona State
