David Blohm – Smarterkids.com Inc (skds)

DAVID BLOHM serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of smarterKids.com. Before joining SmarterKids.com, Mr. Blohm was the President of ThinkingWorks, Inc., an educational research company, from June 1994 to September 1995. From August 1985 to May 1994, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of MathSoft, Inc., a company he co-founded. Mr. Blohm serves on several committees that focus on expanding the use of technology in the educational community. He was recently appointed to Governor Cellucci's Economic Development Council and is a member of the commonwealth initiative. Currently, Mr. Blohm is Chairman of the Massachusetts Software Council's Education Task Force. In this capacity he oversaw the development of The Switched-On Classroom and guided the committee in establishing the Massachusetts Tech Corps. Mr. Blohm sits on the Corporate Executive Council of public television station WGBH, he is a member of the Corporate Board of the Massachusetts Net Day initiative and is a past overseer at the Boston Museum of Science where he co-chaired the museum's first Educational Software Committee.
