Shih-Jye Cheng has served as CEO and one of ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES' Directors since its inception. He was Deputy Chairman from inception to May 2004 and became Chairman in May 2004. Mr. Cheng has also served as a Director and President of ChipMOS Taiwan since 1997, the Chairman of ChipMOS Taiwan since June 2003 and the Chairman of ThaiLin since 2002. He was the Chairman of ChipMOS Shanghai from 2002 to June 2005, the Chairman of Chantek from 2002 to November 2005, the Chairman of ChipMOS Logic from January 2004 to November 2005, the Chairman of AMCT from 2003 to April 2004, and a Director of Ultima Electronics Corp. from 2000 to June 2003. Mr. Cheng was a Division Head of the back-end operation of Mosel Vitelic Inc. from 1992 to 1997. He has a master's degree in business administration from Saginaw Valley State University. Profile
