Capex Spending Pickup Expected for Semiconductor Companies

Patrick Ho joined the Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc., research team in connection with Stifel’s acquisition of Legg Mason’s capital markets group in December 2005. He joined Legg Mason in March 2005, after spending the previous three years at Moors & Cabot Investments, where he covered the semiconductor and semiconductor capital equipment spaces. Before that, Mr. Ho spent time in the venture capital world, covering the technology sector for Comdisco Ventures, where he focused on communications and semiconductor companies. Previously, he spent time at the investment bank Hambrecht & Quist, now J.P. Morgan Chase, where he covered the PC, storage and contract manufacturing sectors.
