Scott Rifkin

SCOTT RIFKIN, MD, is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors
of AmericasDoctor.com. Dr. Rifkin founded AmericasDoctor.com in
September 1998 when it became an anchor tenant on the America Online
Health Channel (keyword: AmDoc). The AmericasDoctor.com Web site was
launched in March 1999 and has since become one the most recognized
health information destinations on the Internet. Dr. Rifkin is a native
of the Baltimore area where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology
from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore County Campus. He graduated
from the George Washington University School of Medicine. Currently Dr.
Rifkin is the founder and Chairman of AmericasDoctor.com Inc. He is
certified in Internal Medicine and has a private practice in Owings
Mills, Maryland. Dr. Rifkin has been named as a ‘Top Doc’ by Baltimore
Magazine, serves on the editorial board of Physician Practice Digest,
and is a frequent speaker at regional and national events.
